HOW IS THE MINISTRY STRUCTURED?

Jesse and Rachelle Digges and Will Shehee were among the original founders of Send56, and make up the International Leadership Team, giving leadership to all aspects of the ministry. They are overseen by the Send56 Board of Directors. All African mission bases, the Send56 HQ, and our African missionary sending agency (TUMA) are overseen by an appointed director, along with their leadership teams. Through TUMA, missionaries are sent to the field as teams, with an appointed team leader. They aim to plant churches that also establish teams of indigenous church leaders.  In all things, our teams and team leadership are accountable to one another, as well as their overseers.

OUR MOST IMPORTANT VALUES

We chose the name Send56 to reflect our foundational verse, Isaiah 56:7:
“My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.”
A house of prayer
The goal of missions is to restore a broken relationship between unreached peoples and God. Once restored, this relationship between God and man is expressed through intimate prayer. As an increasing number of peoples are reached with the gospel, our desire is to see corporate expressions of prayer that continue night and day.
For ALL NATIONS
God's desire is that Jesus would receive his inheritance from every tribe, tongue, people and nation. This is what Christ died for, and His supreme worth demands no less.

Our five strategic anchors

  • Praying Day and Night (Luke 18:7) - "Will God not give justice to His elect, who cry to Him day and night?"
  • Contending for Awakening in the Muslim World (Rom. 10:1) - "Brothers my heart’s desire and prayer to God for them is that they may be saved."
  • Developing Training and Resource Hubs (Mat. 28:19) - "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations."
  • Sending Indigenous Missionaries to the Unreached (Rom. 10:15) - "How are they to preach unless they are sent?"
  • Activating the Global Church in the Gospel (3 John 1:8) - "That we may be fellow workers for the truth."
